Hello everyone,

My name is Hideki Okuma,Founder of DHSP.

 

In Japan, where our team operates 11 kindergartens, dance has already become part of the official school curriculum from kindergarten to junior high school. This is because dance develops far more than physical ability. It builds the human skills that children need to navigate the world: cooperation, observation, creativity, memory, communication, and confident self-expression.

 

I wanted to bring this powerful educational value to Cambodia. With that vision, DHSP was established here in Phnom Penh.

 

At DHSP, we don’t simply teach choreography. Each lesson includes a unique 10 minute program designed to cultivate essential cognitive and human skills, something that sets our school apart. I warmly invite you to visit and experience our approach firsthand.

 

Today, more than a decade has passed since dance became a recognized and sustainable profession around the world. One of our core missions is to train future professional dancers and specialists, nurturing individuals who can build a career and a life through dance.

 

Our doors are open not only to children, but also to young people and adults who dream of turning dance into their future profession. I look forward to welcoming you to DHSP and to creating a new future for dance together here in Phnom Penh.
