Hip-Hop Special Workshop by NOZOMI
A Special Workshop with One of Japan’s Top Dancers
28/06/2026
A special dance workshop led by NOZOMI, one of Japan’s top dancers, was held in Cambodia for the first time.
The workshop welcomed a wide range of participants, from complete beginners to professional dancers. Participants learned the fundamentals of rhythm training and simple hip-hop steps while enjoying the experience of dancing together.
DHSP will continue to connect the dance communities of Japan and Cambodia and create opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to learn, connect, and grow through dance.
Let’s DANCE
To finish the workshop, everyone danced together to a Michael Jackson song, creating a memorable moment where participants of all ages and experience levels came together through dance.
For dancers and those interested in starting dance in Cambodia, the workshop was a valuable opportunity to experience the dance and unique expression of a leading Japanese dancer firsthand, providing new inspiration and learning.
